Miramichi River

Head over to the thrilling Miramichi River with your crew to explore the islands along the waterway. This area is rich in fishing opportunities, boasting some of the best salmon fishing in the province. It has been said that the river’s ability to produce wild Atlantic Salmon is unmatched, so if salmon is your calling, so is the Miramichi River. Kedgwick River

Connected to the Restigouche River, another river famous for its salmon fishing, this river has been visited by many angling enthusiasts. Amongst those visitors has even been a former US President! Float lazily down the river and admire the natural scenery around Narrows Mountain and Crabbe Mountain. The waters and surrounding hills create a diverse biome for many species of wildlife such as the Black Bear. Lake Utopia

Nestled in the quiet town of St. George, Lake Utopia looks just as gorgeous as it sounds. This lake is where the river meets the sea, leading to a diverse collection of fish to be caught in their pristine waters. Boaters can also enjoy waterskiing, jet-skiing or sailing either across the lake or out on the open ocean If you’re spending the day on the water, grab some tasty take-out from the Harbour Road Pub and Eatery and keep an eye out for the mysterious and illusive Lake Utopia Monster – or “Old Ned” as the locals call him.

St. John River

Travelling along the St. John River is one of the most enjoyable pastimes in New Brunswick. You can moor your boat at one of the many marinas in the area while you rent a stand up paddleboard, or  go for a spin along the Bay of Fundy’s coastline. There are tons of planned tours and activities to take part in along the river, including a kayak tour of the St. Martins Sea Caves and Fundy Trail coastline.
